Hi I'm Dolly

Aloha, I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints an live in Hawaii on the island of Molokai a Born Member.

About Me

Aloha I am a mother, daughter, sister, aunty and a good friend to all. I am married to my high school sweetheart for 26 years we are both 45 years old with 4 children 2 boys and 2 girls. I am a homemaker that enjoy doing things with my hands and always make sure I have dinner ready before it's dark. Our children attended the same school as both of us, we only have one more left to graduate. We live a simple life with animals to feed, plants to water, go to the beach on beautiful days when there is no sports games to attend if the children is playing, go to seminary, attend church on sunday's, husband is a fire fighter that goes to work, monday's Family Home Evenings, Tuesday's Scouts, Every 3rd Wed my youngest son goes home teaching with his Papa and Thursday, Friday and Saturday are open for family time or other activities that comes up. Our family enjoys to go Fishing, Hunting and all kinds of outdoor activities. I also enjoy taking pictures of everything and anything that makes people happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the many Blessing that we can receive if we Choose the Right. There are times in our lives when obstacles come about and changes begin when losing someone so dear to our hearts and not understand. In the year 2002 we loss our oldest daughter in a car accident. This is also the same year she graduated from high school and was the Home coming Queen. She can home from college to visit and watch her sisters basketball game. Having the Church in our life made it easier for me to deal with her loss. To be strong for my children and for the husband who saves lives was harder to deal with knowing he couldn't be there for her. Having my family as members of the Church there with me my husband and my children made it feel like it was alright knowing we will see her again and that she is sealed to us for time and all eternity and knowing that Families are Forever. Having the Gospel in our lives I have a better understanding in life then just being here on this earth.. Like when you get married the Bishop or Priest will say till death do us part. When being a member and a Temple member then it will be for time and all eternity and that's Forever.

How I live my faith

I Live my Faith by attending Church, Teaching sisters of the Ward every other 5th Sunday of the month. I organize activities like Class Reunions, Funeral services and Meals to follow, I help with many church activities and dinners for holiday's. I am always open to help and serve when ever a call comes in for assistance. My sisters and I always do alot of compassionate service to the widows, new moms, sick & needy and even dinners for our Missionaries here on the Island. After all is done it really feels good to know that I did something good for others and Serving and what we are about.

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

The services are there to help those that are in need or are struggling in there home. There are times in some of our lives when ends don't meet and you just don't know what to do or who to turn to. That is when the Bishop will make the dission in using the Welfare Service to help the home. Home Teachers or Visiting teachers can also be of assistance in some ways. Show more Show less

You never have to worry when a Mormon is in charge cause things will be done and in a very Humble and Loving way... We help in many differant organization s and in many differant ways. We help all...
