Hi I'm Teresa

I'm a wife and a mother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been happily married for 26 years and have 4 children. I work part-time at a Scrapbooking Company. I meet a lot of different people and I know that we are all children of our Heavenly Father and he loves each one of us individually!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I want more happiness and joy in my life. I have more hope and faith because of the Savior Jesus Christ and the gift of his Atonement that he has given us all. I love learning of his teachings and want to become more like him.

How I live my faith

I try to pattern my life after the teachings of the Savior. The Savior taught that we are happy if we will serve one another. My testimony of the Savior grows when I serve my family and community. I'm serving right now in the youth program at church . I love attending activities and sharing service opportunities with the young women in my ward/congregation. We learn in Young Women's that we can strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ as we learn of his teachings and then apply them in our lives.

What is the Book of Mormon?

The book of Mormon teaches us of Jesus Christ and how to follow his teachings so we can be truly happy. I love the family stories in the Book of Mormon and how it will help us to love our own families. It also teaches us that we can be forgiven of our sins, be baptized, and return to live in Gods presence with our families after we die. I have read and studied this book and simply prayed to know of it's truthfulness. I can say that I received a witness of it's truth and I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I invite you to do the same. Read the Book of Mormon for yourself and then kneel and pray and ask Heavenly Father if it is true. The wonderful thing about the Book of Mormon is that we can each receive and answer of it's truthfulness. Show more Show less

What is the First Vision?

The First Vision is simply an answer to a prayer. Joseph Smith wanted to know more about which church to join so he did as the Bible suggested in James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and up-braideth not and it shall be given him". This is so comforting to me because through Joseph's humble prayer Heavenly Father appeared to him along with his son Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father knows each one of us and I feel his love and guidance in my own life! Show more Show less
