Hi I'm Kiki

Talofa! I'm Mormon

About Me

I am a single parent of two beautiful children. I am Samoan, love to play volleyball love the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Currently obtaining my BA in Healthcare. Been an exciting journey with its ups and downs. But I thank my Heavenly Father for giving me the strength.

Why I am a Mormon

I was going through a hard and rough time in my life, and I prayed for help, and the missionaries were sent to my door. I was not very nice, but...it took 15 sets of missionaries before I got on my knees and prayed and asked my Father in Heave if he loved me? The same evening two missionaries showed up on my door step and one of them with boldness said " Sister Laa, all day I have been prompted to come by and let you know that our Father in Heaven loves you so much that he sent his son!" Those were powerful words that testified to my heart that my Father in Heaven is so mindful of me. This is the only Church that I continue to learn everyday. I was drawn to the members, children are not afraid to pray at the age of 4, Young women and Young men who are committed to the Gospel, The Gospel is free and it is truly found here at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! I know that those missionaries were sent to my door to help me, I was struggling with the word of wisdom, and when the elders gave me a blessing for the word of wisdom, Heavenly Father took it all away. I will never forget or deny that experience that I had that day. I never looked back, because I knew in my heart that "Jesus Lives!!!" And if I should spend the rest of my days serving him, that is what I am going to do. And these things I say humbly in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

How I live my faith

I have not always made the right choices. But I know that through the many gifts and resources that he has given us, I am able to overcome. I am an Advisor in Young Women. I love my calling. I at times feel as though the lessons were for my benefit. I have had many callings in the church and love it, love reading the scriptures, the Book of Mormon is truly for these latter days. I currently hold a temple recommend. I strive to attend the Temple once a month so I can be more in tune with the spirit.
