Hi I'm Kenneth

I love to play Basketball. I like to eat good food. I love to laugh. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Kenneth, as you may have already guessed. I love to play Basketball whenever I get the chance. Any sports as a matter of fact interest me. Basketball is my favorite but I also like to play soccer and football. Currently I am in school and studying to be something great, but not exactly sure what yet. I also love to listen to good music. I like to learn about history. I also love to watch cartoons: spongebob, the avatar, young justice, and all the old classics. I like to go on family trips as well. And of course, I love to eat good food. My favorites are my moms chicken bread ring, pizza, and steak.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that what the church teaches is true. It was not always this way. When I was younger, it was hard for me to understand what my parents taught. It was also very hard for me to sit still in sunday school and listen to what was being said. As I grew older, my faith was challenged. I was not sure what to believe as my friends went one way and I went another. I needed to know for myself that the message was true. I read from the Book of Mormon, from start to finish, by myself for the first time when I was 19. As I read my soul was filled with light, with joy, and I knew that the book was true. It did not come all at once, but my testimony was strengthened, made sure as I prayed and received a witness from the Holy Ghost. This knowledge gave me a deep love for my Savior, for his gospel in the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and for his children. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet because he could not have written such a book. I believe Christ is the head of this church. I am a Mormon because I want to follow him, become more like him. I want to share his gospel, his love, with the world.

How I live my faith

I served a mission in Montana. I spent everyday searching for those who need help, who need to here the message wich brings them back to their father in heaven. Teaching them the gospel of Jesus Christ, the gospel of repentance, starting life clean with a new spirit.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Missionaries go out to teach the gospel primarily beacause it is something they know to be true. They feel the ever increasing need to teach others of Jesus Christ, to call others to change there lives and prepare to meet God again. They feel the need , desire the welfare of others souls. They go out to teach people because they love them and want to bless them. Olny through the Gospel of Jesus Christ as restored(brought back in same condition) through the prophet Joseph Smith can one be baptized, become clean, thus preparing for Eteranal life(living with God forever). This is the olny way to become clean of our sins, become spiritualy reborn. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is a sure belief that something is true. When using in a gospel context, one gains a knowledge of truth through the holy ghost, wich speaks peace to the heart and mind as an answer to prayer to confirm truth. Show more Show less
