Hi I'm April

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I were sealed in the Temple in May of 2009. We love to spend time together and play with our 2 dogs. I love to craft and fitness has become a new found passion for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a family that loved the church and like all member that were raised LDS, I have had to learn for myself and gain my own testimony of the gospel. I am grateful for loving parents that taught me of Christ. I love my Savior and I love to learn about him. This is why I continue to go to church week after week. It is a tough journey through this life. I know the Lord wants us to have joy in this life and to succeed, he wants us all to return to live with him. He loves all of us and if we strive to live the values we a taught this can be a reality!

How I live my faith

My husband and I have recently moved to a new area, this means we have moved to a different Ward in the Church. This is an exiting opportunity for us! I love the Visiting Teaching program. This is a wonderful way to meet sisters and become friends. I am excited to build relationships with the women in this area by visiting with them and serving them!

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

April
There are no big secrets we are keeping inside the Temple. We invite everyone to enjoy the blessings of attending the Temple and learning of our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. This is what we do in the Temple, we learn of our Father and of our Savior. We also have the opportunity to be sealed, or bound together, as Eternal Families. The reason not anyone can just walk into the Temple is because we need to prepare ourselves so we are ready to learn and understand the things we are taught. We need a strong foundation in the Gospel before we can understand and receive the further light and knowledge we gain in the Temple. As with anything, we need to have a strong foundation before it can be built upon. Show more Show less
