Hi I'm Ken

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Someday I'll decide what I am going to be when I grow up, just not yet. There are just too many things that I find interesting and want to try. Currently, I run a technology company and a construction company; couple all that with service as a Bishop in the church and life is pretty busy. But my favorite thing of all is being a Dad. I have five wonderful children that have become my primary hobby. They keep life full and happy and exciting. I have an amazing wife that I admire and love more each year we spend together. I grew up in the west and have lived most of my life in Idaho, Utah, and Arizona. I love all things outdoors. If it takes skis, a bike, a pack, a bow, a boat, a tent, a rope, or a gun, I'm in! I'm a businessman, an engineer, an outdoorsman, a Dad, and I'm a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

Mormonism makes complete sense to me. In those quiet moments in life when time seems to stand still and you feel connected with something bigger, the gospel of Jesus Christ all fits. Knowing how deeply I love my children, I can sense how intense the love of a perfect Father feels. God lives and He is my Father and He wants me to be happy so He sent me some gifts including the infinite sacrifice of His perfect Son, a living prophet, and a plan to find happiness in this life and after with my family. I've read every word of the Book of Mormon many times and know that that book is true. It has helped me understand who Jesus is and has helped me know how to access the power of His atonement to become clean. I know that Jesus has saved me from death and continues daily to save me from my sins. I hope one day to bow at His feet and feel confidence in His presence.

How I live my faith

My faith is my way of life, not just a church or a religion. It's everything I do and everything I am trying to become.
