Hi I'm Joe

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a proud father of a brilliant 3 year old boy. My wife and I have enjoyed 5 years of marital bliss and look forward to an eternity of happiness. I love sports and am interested in all things political and historical. My profession allows me to meet people of all cultures and backgrounds and assist them with International expansion. I couldn't be happier with how things have played out in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I want to be happy. I want my son to be happy. I want to be an amazing husband to my wife. Everyday the world continues to tear down families and provide the next new temporary high. I don't want that. I want my wife to never question my love for her and my son to know that he is the most important thing in my life. This makes me happier than anything this world could ever provide. This can only be done by centering my life on the true priciples of Jesus Christ as taught through his prophets.

How I live my faith

After serving a two year mormon mission to Mexico, my wife and I were married in the Salt Lake City temple. We currently serve within the church in multiple capacities. I understand that many people are very happy with their relationship with God. I would hope everyone could come to the understanding that he knows you and wants you to know him. I try to live my life in such a way as to be an example of Christ in all times and in all places. I'm more than happy to share my views of God with anyone who is interested.

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is a record of God's interactions with the acient inhabitants of the American continent. Just like the Bible, it dictates the true gospel of Jesus Christ as told by the experiences/stories of ancient prophets. Just as God called Prophets in the Bible to teach and lead the people of the old world, he did the same thing in the new world.. The Americas. God loves all his children the same and always sends prophets to share his gospel. The Book of Mormon goes hand in hand with the Bible in declaring the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon isn't here to take the place of the bible, but to establish it's truths. It's teachings have changed my life. Show more Show less

Why is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Mormons or Mormonism?

The true name of the Mormon church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.' We are Christians in every sense of the word. Our lives are centered in Christ and we recognize that ONLY by his teachings can we be saved. We are called Mormons, because we believe in The Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ. Mormon was one of the ancient prophets in The Book of Mormon who lived on the American continent around 600 BC. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

No, not all members are required to serve a mission. Missions are encouraged to all worthy young men, but they aren't for everyone. I have plenty of great friends who are active, happy members of the church who didn't serve missions. It isn't for everyone. However, I can say that every great success in my life and all the things I cherish the most, can find their roots tied to the experiences of my mission. Show more Show less
