Hi I'm Cammie

I am a traveler. I am an artist. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, I am an art student, I am a lover of language and cultures. I am a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the Latter-Day Saint Church as a youth from my parents, but that is not why I chose to be a member. I came to a point in my life when I needed to decide whether or not I believed the things that I learned in the church; so I put it to practice. I knew from the testimony of Matthew that "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit." (Matthew 7:18). So I decided to live the gospel of Jesus Christ whole-heartedly and determine whether or not it was true based on the fruit I reaped from it. I'm so glad I did. I know for myself that this is the true church of Jesus Christ, restored to the earth in the Latter-Days. I know that Heavenly Father loves His children, and I have a great desire to bring them to the knowledge of God and His son, our brother, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am currently attending college in Hawaii. I live my faith everyday, and am given wonderful opportunities to participate actively in the church. I currently serve in a position where I teach young children of our congregation, and I love working with them!

Where did Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints begin?

Cammie
The Church of Jesus Christ was established during Christ's Earthly ministry. The modern-day Mormon Church was restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith through revelation and direction given by Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

Cammie
The Church understands that life is sacred; the spirits that come to Earth have come to gain a body and be tested, and they lose that opportunity if their life is aborted. Show more Show less
