Hi I'm Erica

I'm a wife, a mother, a sister, and a daughter. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for a little over six years and have two adorable children: a daughter, who is four, and a son who is two. I love being a mom - it's what I always wanted to be! I served a mission in Santa Maria Brazil and loved it. I have a lot of interests, but am currently working on a LOT of craft projects, including sewing, crochet, needlework, and digital scrapbooking. I love to cook and to bake, spend time with my friends and family, and play with my cute kiddos!

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful to have had the gospel in my life from birth. I was baptized when I was eight years old and have had a testimony that this is the true church for many years. It is a blessing to know that my Heavenly Father knows me and loves me, that He sent His son to atone for my sins, and that I have the privilege to be a mother to my sweet children. I hope that I can raise them to be faithful and help them grow testimonies of their own.

How I live my faith

I teach the women in the church once a month from the current church curriculum. It is a joy to teach, because I get to learn so many things as I prepare my lessons, and my testimony grows as I am able to share it with the sisters, and hear them as they contribute during the lessons!

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Erica
A testimony comes from feeling the Holy Spirit witness to you that something is true. If you pray to know the Book of Mormon is true, you may feel a warm feeling in your heart. This is the Holy Ghost letting you know that the book is true and you can say that you have a testimony that it is. Show more Show less
