Hi I'm Kyle

I'm a mid-20's college student and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mid 20's college-age student that grew up in a small town. Besides juggling school, work, and a social life I love playing and watching baseball. I guess you could say that I'm your typical small town American guy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I felt like I could relate to the story of Joseph Smith and his circumstances. I wanted to know what the difference was between this church and the other churches in my area. I did just like Joseph Smith did - to ask God and pray about the Book of Mormon to know if it was true. I did that with an open heart and open mind and I felt a great warm assurance that what I read was true and that Joseph Smith didn't make it up. Since that point I haven't turned back.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. Prayer and scripture study are a daily part of my life that help strengthen my faith. I also go to church each week on Sundays and participate in the meetings there. Most importantly, I try to apply the teachings I learn from my own studies and the teachings I learn in church to my everyday life.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Kyle
I am getting married in December and one of the most reassuring and beautiful blessings that come from my faith is that I will be able to be with my wife beyond this life into the eternities. I know this through my faith in the restoration of beautiful and simple principles of the teachings of Jesus Christ through the prophet Joseph Smith. Because of the restored principles through the prophet, it has been revealed that families have the blessing of being together forever. To me, heaven wouldn't be heaven without my family.
