Hi I'm Kimberly

I'm a wife, mother, fitness instructor and a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 23+ years and have 4 children who are growing up fast. I didn't finish college yet, but have developed a love of fitness and health which led me to become a group fitness instructor, which I love! It makes me feel strong in all aspects of my life, spiritually, mentally and physically.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. When I was 17 my parents divorced and my world fell apart. It was then I had to decide what I personally believed and if what my parents had taught me was really the truth. I had some months of struggle and tried abandoning some of the standards of the church. I realized I wasn't happy living this way and returned to doing what I knew was right. I have been the only consistently active member of my family for 20+ years. Only one of my siblings attends church and considers themselves Mormon. It is a bit lonely sometimes and I feel like the family "goody two-shoes", but I wouldn't give up the gospel of Jesus Christ for anyone or anything. It is the only sure way to go!

How I live my faith

I teach an early morning scripture study class called "Seminary" for all high school age youth. We meet every morning before school at the church and start the day learning the teachings of Jesus from His recorded words and also from those who testify of Him, past and present. The best part is applying what we learn to our everyday lives!

What is a ward/stake/branch?

A Mormon ward is just a geographical area of members who go to the same church building and attend meetings together. A branch is a small group of members within an an area who aren't large enough in number to make a ward. A stake is a group of wards within a bigger geographical boundry. Show more Show less
