Hi I'm Heather

I'm a mother, a wife, an optimist, a dancer, a photographer, a writer, a Mormon.

About Me

I have 5 beautiful sons and my greatest goal in life is to raise them to be valiant missionaries, fathers and husbands. When I'm not running them to soccer, or helping them with homework, I enjoy dancing, photography and writing. My motto is: "Do some good today". I believe in making a difference, using my talents to serve others and finding joy in the divine roles of mother and wife. Time is precious, and relationships are priceless...so I believe in spending my precious time building priceless relationships with those I love!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. The gospel of Jesus Christ is easily proven: If you live it, you'll believe it! Why? Because it brings peace, happiness and joy! I have never once had a regret from living the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

We know that Jesus went about doing good his whole life. I want to be like him and the more I learn about his life, the more I see that he spent all his time in the service of others. Showing charity to others is how I live my faith. Heavenly Father gave us arms to ease sadness through a hug, eyes to see the needs of others, lips to speak comfort and share truth, ears to show compassion by listening to others, hands to serve someone in need, and feet to take us to the aid of another. I believe that when we desire to be like the Savior, he will put us in the path of those who need us most. So, I try my hardest to live my faith by living worthy to feel the spirit so it can guide me to help someone in need. There is nothing more fulfilling than being an answer to someone's prayer!

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Heather
As C.S. Lewis once said, "If you live for the next life, you get this one in the deal. But if you live for this one, you lose them both." As Mormons, we know that everything we do in this life is preparing us to meet the Savior and live with Him again. If we can keep that perspective, we will seldom have regrets about the choices we make. We will see that each decision can either lead us closer to Him or farther away. Mormon lifestyle is simple we learn of Jesus and then we do our best to be like Him. We spend our time building strong families, helping those around us, exercising and eating healthy, learning and developing our talents, attending church on Sunday to worship, working hard better ourselves, and of course finding time to have fun with our families. We embrace all that is beautiful and good in this world, and take no part in the things that are not. Some people don't believe that it is possible to be happy in this life...but truly it is all a matter of perspective! Show more Show less
