Hi I'm Camille

I home school my children. I'm an adoption advocate. I'm an outdoor enthusiast and athlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a mom, which is good since I spend most of each day with my children, learning and teaching in our home school. We enjoy outdoor activities and sports, and when we can combine the two, we like it even better. Some of our favorite activities are trail running, biking, hiking, racing, etc. Our family decided to adopt last year and it has been an amazing experience which has blessed our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

My life is full of blessings which come from belonging to the Mormon church. Many of those blessings center around families. Our family has been sealed in the temple and I know we can be together forever if we rely on Christ's atonement each day and strive to do His will. In a world full of chaos, darkness, and confusion, our home is full of peace, safety, and security. It's a huge blessing to our children, and brings a great deal of happiness to us as parents.

How I live my faith

Right now, most of my time and efforts are centered on serving and teaching my children. Together we serve others in simple ways such as spending time with a widow or making bread for someone in need. Two of my sons are Boy Scouts and that offers additional serving and learning opportunities. I get to teach the 17 and 18 year old Sunday School group and we've enjoyed learning more about the Old Testament this year.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Camille
Yes! Families can be together forever! Within the walls of our holy temples, a husband and wife can covenant with God to be sealed together forever. If they keep their covenants to do His will, their marriage will not end at death but continue through the eternities. Their children and posterity will be sealed to them also. Our family has a special testimony of the sealing blessing. Our two adopted daughters have been sealed to us, and they are now part of our eternal family. Each occasion was one of the most sacred, peaceful, and joyful experiences of my life; events our family will always remember and hold dear in our hearts. Show more Show less
