Hi I'm Teresa

I grew up in Indiana, I am the mother of 3 beautiful children. I love to cook, clean, and exercize. I am Mormon.

About Me

I have am the youngest out of 5 children. My parents moved from Smithville, Tennessee to Muncie, Indiana before I was born. When I was younger I loved climbing trees, especially the Cherry Tree in our yard. I started writting poetry when I was in elementary school. I love reading books, especially books written in the 1800's and older. I have a deep love for nature and love camping. 2011 Summer I was asked to attend Young Womens Camp for our Church, and quickly learned skills necessary for camping. I have a great love for music and dancing. I can't carry a tune and my dancing skills are laughable, but it never stops me from carrying on around the house. I am the mother of 2 boys and 1 girl. My sweetheart Marty is my best friend. I love life, my family, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and even though my sweetheart often teases me about my age, I love growing old with him. I love children and look forward to being a grandmother. One day I hope to attend college.

Why I am a Mormon

I was rummaging through my moms cabinets I discovered an old family bible with much genealogy in it. The most quoted scripture I came to be familiar with was John 3:16 Everything I knew about God was he was someone to be feared. I will always remember the movie they showed of the last days, it terrified me. I remember one day, I picked up the family bible and decided to read it. I began in the New Testament. It was there when I first really learned about Jesus. He was amazing. He loved, cared and served everyone. He was so kind and gentle. I came to love my Savior. I wanted to be like him. I believe his father was kind, because he was. I was about 12 years old at this time. I began to call upon God in prayer and ask forgiveness and to find his church. Finally one day the missionaries came to our house. I felt I should listen carefully to them. The Holy Ghost bore a powerful impression upon my heart and mind about what they had said. I decided to be baptized. I am Mormon because I have taken the Challenge found in Moroni 10:3-5 3. The Holy Ghost has born solemn testimony to every part of my being that The Book of Mormon is true. and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that his testimony is true. I know for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Jesus Christ Church with all the fulness of his everlasting gospel. I know Thomas S. Monson is a living Prophet today. I know Jesus is the Christ. I know I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father who does indeed Love me!

How I live my faith

I have served for many years in teaching the primary age children and Sunday School Teacher for the 13- 14yr old youth. I have also, served as a Librarian and as a volunteer in the Genealogy Center. I am now serving as the Young Women's President for the Mishawaka Ward. My most important calling would be being a mother to my children and a best friend to my husband. I read the scriptures every morning, have prayer, go to church, visit teach, attend the temple, and most importanly strive to live what I claim I believe through my actions. I strive to show my love for the savior by offering service whenever is needed.
