Hi I'm Jonathan
I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a husband, a father and a student.
Why I am a Mormon
I feel very blessed to have been born to a family that loves the Lord. I have been a member my entire life but that does not mean that I was indoctrinated or forced to believe or do anything I did not feel to be right. Growing up as a child it was easy to make similar correct decisions that other members of my family were making but there came a point when I could no longer rely on my family's faith. One thing the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stresses is that members "find out" for themselves, after all that is a key event in our Church history in how the Church came to be restored. Joseph Smith as a young 14 year old boy put the scripture verse to the test when he read in James chapter one verse five that states; "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not and it shall be given him." If we don't know something we should ask the Lord and He'll tell us. I wanted to know if this Church was true, so I prayed and studied sincerely about it and came to know that it is true. I know that this is something that everyone can and should do.
How I live my faith
I have always tried to make my religion a central part of who I am rather than just a Sunday ritual as it so easily could be. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ means hopefully that I'm a better person than I would be without it.
