Hi I'm Nicole

I am a student. I am an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to college and trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. I have many goals and aspirations but it is hard to know which path I should take. I volunteer my time as a yoga instructor and love to design jewelry. I am a voracious reader and you can often find me deep into a book instead of studying.

Why I am a Mormon

Through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I have found peace. At this time in my life there are so many decisions to be made. There are a lot of ways that I can mess up. There are so many uncertainties that I can often feel overwhelmed. During these times of trial I am able to turn to my Savior Jesus Christ and He helps me through each step. Through Him I can find answers and press forward with the assurance that He will always be there to lift me up. He brings peace to my life and love to my heart. I see the world differently when I let Him into my life. I see the beauty of his creations and I find an increased ability to love the people around me. It is through this gospel that I am able to know that we are all brothers and sisters, and that each person has a divine potential for greatness. Through this church and the gospel that it teaches I know that families can be together after death. This is a principle that I could never live without.

How I live my faith

I attend a Church college and have been given many opportunities to participate in church activities through the school. I attend church every Sunday and partake of the sacrament there. I go to classes to learn more about the scriptures and how I can become a better person. On Monday nights I participate in a Home Evening group that include a few apartments of both ladies and gentlemen. We play games and bond together, while also having a lesson on the gospel. During the rest of the week I have the opportunity to talk about the gospel of Jesus Christ with classmates and peers. We even have in classroom discussions about Christ. I also am blessed with the opportunity to be a visiting teacher. I am assigned to teach two women from my ward each month. I check up on them and see if they are in need of any support. Together we share our love for the gospel and grow in strength and love.
