Hi I'm Linda

I'm a mom and a wife. I love writing, reading and traveling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member my entire life. I served a mission in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission.I have been married to my sweetheart for 20 years. We have six children ages 6 to 19 and I am a stay at home mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the faith and was raised in a Mormon family. My testimony grew steadily as I matured and studied. It was serving a mission and then having a family of my own that I realized the importance of knowing my Savior and His gospel and sharing it with others. The gospel is the only thing that has kept my familiy together and my kids on the right path. It contains all the answers I need as a parent and wife.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in it and keeping my family involved. We attend every Sunday. My children are active in the youth programs. I am the Cub Scout leader which my son attends with me. We also live the gospel in our home by reading scriptures, having family prayer and having a weekly Family Home Evening where we sing, pray, play games, share talents and discuss the gospel. This has kept our family close together.

What do Mormons believe about family?

People look and stare at our big brood and probably wonder why we have so many kids. Though the number of kids in a family does not proves ones faith, for my husband and I it was an easy decision. Because we understand the Plan of Salvation and the central role that the family unit plays in God's plan, we were happy to bring six strong spirits into this world. A prophet once said, "No other sucess can compesate for failure in the home." When the family suceeds, so does the community, the nation and the world. Show more Show less
