Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Software Developer. I'm a husband. I'm a father of 4 boys and a princess. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love building things that other people can use and enjoy. For that reason, I've been working in the Internet industry for the last 10 years as mostly a front-end web developer. I live in the pacific northwest and love how close the ocean and mountains are. I love to camp and explore the outdoors and am looking forward to sharing more of that with my children as they grow. I was in an awesome marching band in high school and still have a great love for music. I play the trumpet in my free time and have written a couple of little songs for guitar. I like playing and watching sports and have been to a lot of little league baseball games and youth soccer games in the last few years.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I've learned so much about God's plan and how I can be happy and return to live with Him someday. I love the things that I learn and the feelings I have every Sunday as I attend church and as I read the scriptures(Bible and Book of Mormon). I love the people I interact with at church. I've had so many experiences in my life that help me know that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, on time, all three hours. I spend time with my family. I read the scriptures and pray. I try to listen to people and help them.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

We all need it! None of us are perfect, but that's what we need to be in order to live with Heavenly Father again. We can't get there on our own, or with our own strength. We need to do as much as we can to get there, and Jesus's sacrifice carries us the rest of the way. Show more Show less
