Hi I'm Chelsea

I am a Mother. I Love to design and create new things. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I am a Mother to 5 little ones! We had 5 children in 6 yrs... one set of twins bumped our family size up quickly! I love to teach children and feel that it is the most important work of being a Mother. We are given our sweet little children from a Loving Father in Heaven, to raise and teach in love. I also truly enjoy Family History, finding someone, when it was thought that they were a "brick wall" or un-findable is thrilling. It brings such a different meaning to life to learn of those who we descend from and to learn what they have been through and how they persevered through their trials and found joy! In my "spare time", I love designing, graphic or I prefer to call it digital design as most of what I design is based around digital photos. Such as wedding, birthday, and baby announcements. I love nature, mountains, and sunsets, especially when experienced on the back of a horse... though that part is much less frequent now! As much as I enjoy horses, I trained them and worked as a wrangler in my earlier days, I love my children and family more and feel that for me the horse part of my life was a little too risky for the responsibilities that are mine. I love learning new things, and "tasting" a little bit of everything good in life and therefore have many interests and things I've tried. I tend to work at something until I feel I have a good enough grasp on it, then move onto something else. I live one day at a time, and try to find the joy in all I do!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. A Daughter of God. A Wife. A Mother. The why encompasses these 3 most important aspects of who I am. Some might believe that I am being held back in my "career", but truly when it all comes down to what is most important, would you pick your work over those people you love? I choose to define myself by what is most important to my heart, my soul, my life, my love, and my Eternity. Our belief is that through being Sealed for time and All Eternity in the Holy Temple we can continue these most important relationships after death. And no matter what temptations or temporal doubts and trials there may be, isn't the simple hope of living with those you love most, enough of a hope to cling to? I believe so, I hope so, and I continue to live my life so that I can stand worthy to be with them forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by quietly taking one step forward after another. We all can do so much and yet we are not required to run faster than we are able. We are all in different parts of life and of learning. So line upon line, I keep moving forward and learning more. The more I learn the more I find there is to Learn, which is exciting and motivating, life would become dull if we could learn it all and have nothing else to continue us forward on our path. The more I learn the more I do, because the more I feel inspired to do. It is a wonderful cycle. I live my faith by teaching my children to be good, moral, happy people. To find true joy in bringing joy to others around them and being examples of truth and light. We are all human and of course make mistakes, but how could we ever learn or progress without making mistakes? That is how we learn! I live my faith by doing my part in our Church. We have moved many times in our 9 yrs of marriage, and in each place we go, the Church is the same, the doctrine is the same, and in every area there are roles to be filled and a part in others lives, to help serve. I have served in many areas and each one has taught me more and helped me grow stronger. Almost always when asked to serve in a new area, I am unsure of my abilities, but always the Lord helps guide and teach me to do what is asked of me.
