Hi I'm Chuck Lucas

I grew up in Indiana and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a proud father and grandpa. My good wife and I have been married for over 37 years. I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 34 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because my parents joined the church when I was two years old. They were not going to any church and they wanted a better life for their children. My grandparents had taken a vacation to Utah and visited Temple Square in Salt Lake City. They filled out a card asking for more information. When they returned to Indiana the missionaries taught them about Jesus Christ and his restored gospel and they joined the church. Afterwards they sent the missionaries to our home and after several months in 1952 my parents were also baptized. I grew up in the church and I cannot remember when I did not know that Jesus was my Savior and that Joseph Smith was his prophet.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying daily to God and reading the holy scriptures. I strive to do my best and I am helped greatly in this effort by my family. When I focus on the Savior and all he has done for me it gives me the strength to serve others and never give up on myself or anyone.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?
