Hi I'm Allison

A wife, mother, daughter of God, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother, daughter, sister, artist, teacher, wanna be jogger and athlete. I traveled and finished my education to come home to meet my husband and are now raising our daughter surrounded by our families in the place we grew up.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a part of this church. The gospel of Jesus Christ pushes me to become the daughter of God I know He wants me to be. I am surrounded by people who share my values and believe in service and charity. We take turns leading and serving each other, truly caring for our brothers and sisters, as members of our gospel or not. I have learn to love as Christ has taught, patience in enjoying the time frame Heavenly Father has in mind. Also the blessings of obedience in learning to be more exact and trustworthy, true joy in what is really important. Likewise, principles to build a strong marriage, and raise children well. I am a Mormon because i know this Gospel is for me, personally to become the best person i can and feel the joy and love of my Saviour by coming closer to Him and Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am serving as the Primary President which is two hours of church each sunday for ages 18 months to 12 years. i am brand new to this calling and auxiliary but excited to serve and know i will be guided by the Lord. I have enjoyed serving in the woman's organization known as the Relief Society where we focus on teaching women to live and love the gospel, serve with charity, and strengthen themselves and their families. i have also served in the Young Woman's program which is a goal setting program for ages 12-18. Through the week we love that our young daughter has learned to pray before meals and as a family before bed. We serve as a family to help our community and those in our church. We have a family night once a week with a lesson, activity, and treat. More than what we do, it is the gospel in how we do things.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Allison
We believe that when we are worthy and prepare ourselves to be married in the temple of the Lord we can be sealed for time and all eternity. We believe that the priesthood authority to preform this ordinance was restored on earth and those set apart to officiate are able to seal couples together and be blessed with the blessings of the Abrahamic covenant. As a seal couple we have the blessing and responsibility to raise children righteously to be a family forever guides us in how we live and treat each member of our family. Yes we believe the connection of marriage and family is eternal beyond this life. It is beautiful the we can be with our loved ones forever, and so important to build strong relationships now.
