Hi I'm David

I live in the St. Louis area with my wife and three kids. I am a grounds keeper. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love a lot of things in this life but there are few that easily top my list. I love my wife, she means everything to me and I always love to make her smile. With my wife, we have three great kids that are non stop balls of energy. I love spending time with my family and having adventures from the zoo to hiking to road trips. Things always seem to be better when we are together. My time with them is precious. When I am not with my family I am usually working. Thankfully I love what I do. I am a gardener and take care of a unique 14 acre piece of property. Beyond this, I love to sing, I am currently singing in a Barbershop Quartet with three of my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ fills my soul. It is only through Christ that we can see all things clearly. I have received answers to my prayers, I have been continually blessed by a loving Heavenly Father. Truth is said to set one free. I feel free. I know that I determinemy life by the decisions I make each moment of my life. When it all comes down to it, I have decided that their really are only two options in this life: Follow Christ or turn away from Christ. I want to follow Christ. I know that I am following Christ when I hear His Prophets speak or read His Scriptures or pray, individually and with my family. I know that all my questions and hesitancies about this life can be relieved as I turn my life to Christ and His Kingdom on the Earth, even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

My faith guides my everyday. I have opportunities every day to exercise my agency to choose right or wrong and it takes my faith and testimony in Jesus Christ to make the right decisions. The way I live my life is directly correlated to the teachings of the Church that I have been blessed to have my entire life. I still make wrong choices or even at times make selfish decisions that aren't the best for anyone around, but once again it is the knowledge I have of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for all of us that helps me to repent of my poor decisions and return to doing what is right. My relationship with my family is enhanced upon because I try to pattern my life around the attributes that Christ exemplified every day of His mortal life. I want to be able to be the Husband, Father and friend that Christ wants me to be and what my family truly deserves because I know that Our Heavenly Father and our Brother Jesus Christ love them unceasingly. I pray each day that I can be better today than I was yesterday.
