Hi I'm Brian

I'm a retired school teacher, I like to garden, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired school teacher. I am married and have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. I live in Coventry, England where, as a school teacher, I taught physics. I enjoy taking photos of flowers and of pretty rural scenes and sea-scapes.

Why I am a Mormon

Two missionaries knocked on my door in 1964 when I lived in Plymouth. I became interested in their message which eventually led to my accepting baptism and confirmation. I had come to know without any doubt that the gospel of Jesus Christ as portrayed by these two missionaries really was true and that it was the Lord's will that I should be baptised.

How I live my faith

Through faith and repentance I try to live by all of the Lord's commandments and keep my baptismal and temple covernants. I say my prayers and read the scriptures each day. I try to show by my actions that that I love my neighbour. Since becoming a member I have had the privlege of serving in a number of positions in the church. I have served as a bishop and as a member of a Stake Presidency and I currently serve as the Coventry Stake Patriarch. I enjoy Home teaching and currently visit, with a great companion, between 8 and 10 families each month. I really enjoy serving in the Church and feel it a great honour to be able to do so.
