Hi I'm Steve

I'm a father of four doing my best to raise great kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of four and a husband of one. I am in my mid-thirties, but feel much younger than I thought I would at this age. I am in the construction planning industry, and work has brought my family across the country. I love to create.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are Mormon, and I was born into the church. Being a Mormon is more than a label though. Being a Mormon is being a follower of Jesus Christ, and following His example, and obeying the Lord's commandments. Being a Mormon is living what you believe. As a teenager it meant keeping chaste and not smoking, or drinking or doing drugs. During these years I did some serious soul searching. I read a lot of scripture, and it seemed that I prayed constantly. I really feel like the Lord guided me in my decisions, which involved severing relationships, and making new friends. It was the decisions I made at that time in my life that have steered me ever since.

How I live my faith

I love my family. My wife and kids are the greatest. I try to live my life so that my children will have an example of what it is to be a great man. I try to teach them to work hard, love, forgive, and repent by example. When I wrong them, I tell them I was wrong and ask forgiveness. I make sure to express my love to them daily before I leave the house. I try to make quality time for each of them. We share scriptures with each other, and they know I love my savior Jesus Christ.
