Hi I'm Jose

I'm a fan of ice cream. I love biology and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of four children. Ever since my family and I moved to the United States we have moved a lot. It was difficult for me to just "up and leave" my friends, school and places I grew to love, but the one thigns that always stayed the same was my religion. It was my anchor; whenever we moved I knew I had a church family waiting for us. Being part of a wold wide church brings peace knowing that anywhere in the world there are people of my faith, that sand up for the same beliefs and core values; that we are all united and willing to serve one another. I'm not much of a sports person. I do enjoy playing volleyball, ping-pong and going fishing. I love stay active, learning, and experincing new things. I was involved in Boy Scouts (achieved Eagle Scout), V.P. of Student Council, National Honors Society, S.A.D.D (Students Against Destructive Decision), Allied Health, Drama, and church youth group activities. Being so involved in and out of school deffinately helped me develop talents I didn't even know I had. I feel very blessed to have been given many experinces and opportuniteis to learn, serve, and grow. I love reading, poetry, biology, and the study of medicine. I became a State Certified Frist Responer, a Nationaly Certified Pharmacy Technicine, and trained in Sports Medicine. What I really what to stuy is Dentistry. I'm currently serving a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints in Kentucky and love it!

Why I am a Mormon

When it comes to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, divine truth can only be felt and experinced throught the Holy Spirit. I've found that it is also one of the hardest things to understand. I've found that the easisest way to feel and experince the witness of the Holy Spirit is by living the Gospel of Jesus Christ that has been fully restored for us today. That's why I'm a Mormon. I have tired for myself to recieve that dinve throught and I've recieve that witness that the same Gospel of Jesus Christ, as taught by Christ himself, fully stands today in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Marvelous truths that once were lost, after the crucifiction of Christ, are now once again on the earth for all of Gods children. The only way to know for oneself is to try and experince for yourself. There is nothing to lose, but there is an unimaginable more you can gain.

How I live my faith

My religion and faith have played a huge role in my life. It has shaped my entier life to what it is now. Of course, no one if perfect, but i try my hardest to live like my Savior, Jesus Christ, would have me to. Christ taught, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself (Luke 10:27)." I have found that profound joy, to me, is seeing someone else glow with joy and shine a precious smile. What better way to love our Lord and bring a smile to someones face than by serving and loving them. Service has been a very big thing with me. As I have come to serve other i have found new friendships, a deeper love for all, and a joy that we can all share.
