Hi I'm Connie

I grew up in Utah. I went to college in CA. Met and married a Marine. Now I live in NC. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married to my husband of 21 years. I am a college graduate with a degree in computer science and a degree in economics. I spent about 25 years working in the printing and publishing industry in various capacities and now work for a software company doing search engine optimization and marketing. I am a stepmother and to my husbands son of a previous marriage. We hope to be grandparents soon.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into The Church, I had to gain my testimony the hard way. By study and faith. I have read the Book of Mormon many times in my life and I have had the spirit whisper to me that it is true, that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that through His atonement I will be able to be resurrected and live with Him. I have also received a testimony that the Heavens are open and our Father in Heaven speaks to us through a modern day prophet.

How I live my faith

I try to live according to my faith everyday. It helps to be engaged in the with the people and the work in my area. I have held many volunteer positions with the church and currently I teach early morning seminary which is a religious and scripture study class for the youth of the church who are high school age. It is by far the most demanding position I have taken on and I love it! I am in my third year of teaching and I can tell you that a person cannot spend that much time immersed in the words of Christ and not be changed in fundamental ways. I have developed a great love for those youth I teach and have had my testimony and love of Christ strengthened on a daily basis.
