Hi I'm Dan

This picture shows my wife and I, just before we were married. We are both Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I have overcome various addictions, improved every single aspect of my physical, mental, and spiritual states, and married a beautiful and incredible woman. None of this would have happened if I didn't find faith in Jesus Christ... and allow that faith to lead me into His church.

Why I am a Mormon

When I read the Gospel Principles, I really agreed with every single word of it. I decided to be baptized. When I received the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands.. it changed my life forever. It was beyond description.

How I live my faith

I'm not perfect. I pray for help in absolutely everything from small day-to-day tasks, right up to huge miracles. Every prayer is answered, and I try to be patient and wait for the moment to come when Heavenly Father will present the answer to me.

Who are the Mormons?

Dan
Members of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. The name "Mormon" comes from "The Book of Mormon". In the Book of Mormon, we can read the writings of ancient prophets, just like the Bible. The Book of Mormon actually correlates with the Bible. In the Book of Mormon, one of the prophets is called Mormon. He was a great General in the time of ancient wars on the American Continent. This book is another testament of Jesus Christ and it supports all the writings of the Bible. My wife and I invite you to read it and feel the spirit of the Lord that will accompany you. What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Dan
God is a man of flesh and bones, just like any man around you. He is perfect however. He is very similar to His son Jesus Christ. They both appeared together to the prophet Joseph Smith, and they were almost identical to each other in appearance. Show more Show less
