Hi I'm Ronda

I'm from New Zealand, married full time mum to six, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Because of my lifestyle being so hectic things I enjoy to do are going to the movies, enjoying the beach breeze, relaxing with good reading material, catching up on a nap some days and teaching my young kids at home. I raise our six children along with my husband so our days are pretty full but along with everything wouldnt see my life any different. I am currently home studying Sports Nutrition and serving in our Church Weekly News Letter and enjoying that alot. I had a passion for hairdressing in my adolesence but now are focussing helping mothers and children and looking at getting into that area once my youngens are at school.

Why I am a Mormon

My upbringing was without any religion. In my teenage years I met my now husband and his older sister shared with me one evening while travelling home from the Temple in Hamilton to Auckland, NZ what they do. Baptisms for the dead was something that stuck in my heart and mind in giving the opportunity for them to accept the gospel in the afterlife and join with their families. I had a sense that came over me that what she was sharing to me was right and I wanted this for my deceased father and then the interest in how I could so this continued. I was taught by the missionaries that came to my house and asked to pray if these things that I was being taught were true. Praying was so not something familiar to me but I did what I felt right. The feeling that came over my entire body when I asked for confirmation was undeniable. I felt warmth from head to toe fuzzy aswell and a wonderful feeling of comfort. This being given to me was soon baptized by my husband and continued my quest in knowledge of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My testimony has grown and even though i have lived differently and have thought I was happy I know that true happiness is walking in the light of the Lord. I know this Church to be true I feel it through the feelings given through the gift of the Holy Ghost and will continue this for my childrens benefit along with mine.

How I live my faith

I have recently been given a calling in our ward which is the Ward Newsletter Editor. And I'm just loving it.Preparing information for all the members to read each week gives me such satisfaction. I havent any training other than having my own personal computer and fidling around but just the comments I've had from people makes me feel special : Also I have the opportunity to visit with women at least once a month to see how they are a share and at the same time a message from church and I get to make friendships which is great.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?
