Hi I'm Bill

I grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of three. I enjoy writing, sailing, and family history/genealogy. I volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was fourteen years old, I went on a camping trip with the Boy Scouts. I heard people talk about God. I wanted to know for myself if God was real. I woke up one morning, found a quiet spot, and prayed. God answered my prayer. I knew He was real.

How I live my faith

I try to help out whenever I can, like inviting people over for dinner, giving people rides to work, helping people fix their cars, and being there for people through hard times. We're all brothers and sisters. Let's help each other out.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Bill
Most Christian churches teach that we go to Heaven or Hell. The Lord revealed through Joseph Smith that we lived in spirit before we were born, that when we die, we will go to Paradise or Prison, where we will continue to learn about Jesus Christ and make choices. After everyone has a chance to accept Christ, we receive a final judgment and are resurrected with different degrees of glory, depending upon our faithfulness. Show more Show less
