Hi I'm Tyler

I am a husband, a father, a runner, an attorney and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading, writing, running, biking, camping, serving others, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the witness I received, by the power of the Holy Ghost, that the Book of Mormon is true. There is a scripture in the Book that has really touched me, it is Moroni chapter 10 verses 3 through 5. In those verses, Moroni challenges us to pray with a sincere heart and with real intent to know if the Book is true. After prayerfully reading and studying the Book of Mormon I took Moroni's challenge and received a witness for myself that the Book of Mormon is true. I know with all my heart that the Book of Mormon is the word of God along with the Holy Bible. I invite you to take Moroni's challenge and find out for yourself that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that if you will pray with a sincere heart and with real intent God will manifest the truth of it unto you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by seeking each day to become a better follower of our Savior Jesus Christ and His perfect example. I know that I am far from perfect, but as we strive to come unto Christ each of us can be cleansed by his Atonement. One of the ways we can come unto Christ is by serving others. Serving in the Church and community has been a blessing in my life and has helped me to grow in so many ways. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we freely give of our time and effort to serve those in our neighborhoods in a variety of ways. Serving others has brought me so much happiness here on Earth.

In whom should we have faith?

We should have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our Savior and our Master. He is the only one that can lead us to salvation. I am so grateful for My Savior and I know that he lives. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No, mormons help anyone that stands in need of help or comfort. There is a scripture in the Book of Mormon that I believe illustrates this principle. It is in Mosiah Chapter 18 verses 8 and 9 and they read "And now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another's burdens, that they may be light Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort." We believe that we should help all 'those who stand in need of comfort,' just as the Savior himself would do. Show more Show less
