Hi I'm Erica

I was born and raised in Arizona and Sonora Mexico- i speak Spanish and English and I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the 4th child out of 5 in my family, I have 3 kids - ages 18, 5, and 10 months. I run a business with my husband in Real Estate - we love to have dinners with our family, and associate with our friends. In my spare time I love to sing, read books, cook, go on nature walks and be with my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member in the church, I was baptized when I was 8 years old. as a teenager my testimony was tried and I fell away from the gospel for a period in my life, something that I regret a lot but I have had the opportunity to develop and strengthen my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Plan of Salvation that he has for each and every one of his children...I figured out my doubts and continue to learn of his teachings each day.I'm grateful for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who has atoned for our sins and because of that I am able to repent everyday of my short comings and become clean so that when the time comes for us to return to him I will be able to be in his presence. I"m so grateful for the scriptures that guide and direct us like a map to know what to do, who to follow, who to be like. I'm grateful for the whisperings of the Holy Spirit that guides and directs me to what I need to do on a daily basis. I'm grateful to have the knowledge of who I am and where I am going and why I am here on this earth. This knowledge is one of the most important things I posses. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the church by teaching the young kids who are 9 and 10 years old. I love being able to develop my strengths and better my weaknesses, by serving others outside and inside the church I get a better feel for what I need to work to better myself; beside the fact that it gives me great joy. I go to church every Sunday from 9 am to noon - during the week we have 1 day out of the week where we have family home evening, this is the time to play and learn and spend time with the family. we have personal and family prayers at the table before breakfast and dinner. we do scripture study at morning or at night personal and family. I love doing these things, when I don't do them for some reason, my life is not the same and it feels like I have forgotten to brush my teeth.
