Hi I'm Andrew

I teach the gospel in Argentina. I love dinosaurs. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a full-time mission in Argentina. I really love football. I will return to Brigham Young University in the fall and study Chemical Engineering. I have loved dinosaurs since I was seven years old, and Bald Eagles since I was 3. I play the violin, piano, and sing. I once tried to start a band. I enjoy reading a good book and nature shows.

Why I am a Mormon

I was always raised in this church. I really love the fact that the church and everything makes so much sense. One doesn´t only feel that it´s true, they can know it. I know. I have seen miracles happen. I have seen how every piece of the puzzle of life fits in with our church. I know how many people have seen this too. Intellectually it makes sense, too. The Bible and the Book of Mormon go hand in hand. They correspond perfectly together. I love this church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my actions, most importantly my standards. That means no drinking, no smoking, no pre-marital relations. I do this not as an obligation but as a desire, for I know the Lord doesn´t ever obligate, but rather He invites. He invites us to be happy. He invites us to return to live with Him and our families forever. He invites all to come unto Him, and I am more than happy to accept such a wonderful invitation.

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

Baptism is great. We baptize by immersion. We baptize after the age of eight. We baptize to save souls and to enter the kingdom of God (John 3:5). We baptize to clean ourselves from sin. We baptize to promise God we will follow him. We baptize because we love Him. Show more Show less
