Hi I'm David & Giseel Garcia

Giseel and I were born and grew up in Cuautla, Morelos Mexico. Sealed in the Mexico City Temple

About Me

I was sealed to Giseel in 1995 in the Mexico City Temple. We have three children. I love spending time with my family. We love the gospel and we are so grateful to be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love serving in the Church. I also love my job. I work doing research in a pharmaceutical company. My relationship with science has strengthen my testimony about Heavenly Father. I have no doubt that He lives. I also know that Jesus Christ lives. We mormons are like any other person in the world, actually, I am a veterinary pathologist, I am scientist, I am a husband, I am a father, and I am a mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I grew up in the church, I had to find the reason why I should attend church and be an active member. After praying, reading the scriptures and fasting, I got the confirmation that the gospel is true, and I understood that I need it in my life in order to be happy. I am a Mormon because the gospel gives to me and to my family the teachings and ordainances to be happy and give us the certainty that if we are obedient, we will be able to stay together as an eternal family.

How I live my faith

We as family enjoy to pray and read scriptures together, and we are grateful for all the opportunities of service that our faith gives to us.

Are Mormons Christians?

David & Giseel Garcia
Yes, we Mormons are Christians. Actually the name of the Church contains the name of Jesus Christ because he is the base of our religion. We cannot think in being forgiven of our sins without believing in Jesus Christ. He is who leads the church by revelation to our Prophet, who is also the President of the church. Mormonism cannot exist without faith in Jesus Christ, the plan of salvation cannot exist without Jesus Christ and we could not speak of salvation if we do not believe in Jesus Christ. He is the cornerstone of the wonderful plan of salvation of our Heavenly Father. We recognize Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer, and he is also our perfect example to follow. We believe in Christ, we prophesize in Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we love Christ. I believe in a living Christ, I know he loves me and knows me personally, I am grateful for His sacrifice and for his love. Show more Show less
