Hi I'm Amanda

I'm a wife, an expecting mother, a sister, daughter and friend...I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 2 years to my sweetheart, and we are expecting our first child at the beginning of next year. We are both anxious and excited to start this new phase in our life! I cannot wait to be a mother. I love spending time with my family, I have 4 sisters whom are my best friends. I love to run, it clears your mind so problem solving comes easier. I ran my first marathon at age 21. I am the manager at a local womens gym, so health and fitness are also passions of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a home where the gospel was our way of life. My parents lived their lives as wonderful examples to my siblings and I. As I became a teenager I started falling away from the important teachings I had learned in my youth. Those 5 years were an unhappy time in my life. But with amazing parents whom never gave up on their wayward daughter, and my desire to return, My heart was once again converted to the Mormon way of life. With this change of heart and lifestyle, I met and married my eternal sweetheart whom I married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple in 2008. My life is so full and I feel extremely blessed to be a Mormon. It is truly a way to find the happiness that we are all seeking.

How I live my faith

I am the sunbeams 4 year old boys and girls teacher in my ward. We teach simple principles to the young children, such as: I am thankful for my parents. I can say I'm sorry. I am thankful for animals. One of my favorite parts of this calling is hearing the children praying to their Heavenly Father. Its so sincere and truly beautiful. I know that their parents are teaching them well in the home.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Amanda
No, Mormons do not worship Joseph Smith. We do however revere him as a prophet of God, who helped restore the gospel of Jesus Christ in this day and time. Show more Show less
