Hi I'm Mark
I'm a Mormon and I am in the Army and make Guitar Cables
About Me
I am a husband and father of three who was raised in the Church. I am a career Army Officer, Major, a veteran of combat in Afghanistan, and the owner of an Audio Cable Company with more than 300 dealers in 25 countries. I am also a semi-professional guitarist who has performed in bands for more than 25 years.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because I was taught as a youth the priniciples of the Church and as a young adult I invesigated further through study and prayer and had several spirituall experiences which confirmed in my heart that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through Joseph Smith, But, most importantly I am a Mormon because I have found that by living the principles of the Church I am happier and a more productive member of society.
How I live my faith
I live my faith as simply as I can doing my best to set a god example for my wife and children despite my many faults. I believe that being consistent in my efforts to be a good member is what is important and often helps to alieve misconceptions others have about Mormons. I participate in my local ward or congregation as Sunday School and Men's Group instructor. I have been asked teach a lot since serving as full-time missionary in Indiana more than 20 years ago. I Love teaching and seem to have a gift for it - at least that is what many fellow members say.
