Hi I'm Sandy

My husband and I were recently called to serve as missionaries in the Benin, Cotonou Mission which is in west Africa!

About Me

My husband and I have been married thirty -six years. We met at BYU and after we married we lived in Weatherford, Oklahoma where Jim got his Pharmacy degree. We have lived in Tuba City, Arizona, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Yerington, Nevada since then. We had three sons and a daughter, and so far we have nine grandchildren going on ten! Our children and their families are a great source of joy to us, and we love being all together.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and I gained my testimony of the gospel as a young woman in my Sunday School and Mutual classes. I attended college at BYU and that experience solidified what I believed. I became firm in the faith and I have remained firm in my testimony of my dear Savior and the gospel He restored to the earth through Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

My husband and I have been ordinance workers in the Reno temple for ten years and that has been a great blessing to us. I have been a teacher in Primary, YW, Sunday School, Relief Society, and Seminary. I love to teach the gospel. My life is centered around my family and the church, and I wouldn't want it any other way! Jim and I are excited to go to Benin and Togo in west Africa to help with the work there.
