Hi I'm Chris Fowler

I am a young father and aspiring entrepreneur. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

MY HISTORY: I claim my home as the Northwest where I spent my childhood. I have been Utah for over 15 years I served my mission in South Africa and Africa has never left me. I have graduated from Alta High School, SLCC, and UVU My nickname was SPUD (I guess they thought I looked like a potato?) MY FAMILY: I am the youngest of 4 My Dad is my hero and my Mom is my greatest fan! My wife, has roots in Chile and Peru so she’s ‘chierulian.’ I have two energetic boys and we are expecting our third. MY HOBBIES: I love the outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, mountain biking, etc. Nothing can replace the feeling of reading a good book. On occasion I turn on a gaming console and play a game or two. Spending time with the ones I love.

Why I am a Mormon

Simply because living the gospel brings joy and contentment into my life. I know that it is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and received an answer to my prayer. This has increase my faith and dedication to Jesus Christ. I am happy.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon to me is all about the opportunity to serve your fellow man. Christ example is perfect and he spent it among the people, serving and teaching where ever he went. That is what my faith is about, living it not just believing it. I currently work with the young men in the Scouting program. This is a perfect opportunity for me to share my love of the outdoors with young men and teach them the concepts of scouting. I camp almost every month with them in the snow, rain, or sun.
