Hi I'm Marcy

I met my Husband in a Corn Maize. He was throwing corn and I was wearing a gorilla suit. True story. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I like to consider myself a young girl at heart. My love for chocolate usually gets the best of me. I don't mind vacuuming (sometimes!). I have a creepy looooong toe and crooked teeth. I do NOT like fish. I love to hear my children pray. My husband makes me laugh and is my very best friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born in the Church but my family did not attend regularly. I always knew it to be true, so I tried my hardest to stay active and do what I knew was right. But I must admit, it was not always easy. I know that my Heavenly Father knows me personally. He knows why I am here and my purpose while I am on this earth. He created me for a reason...even though I may not understand all that He has asked me to do. I know that if I strive to do as He does, I will be able to be with Him again. That is why I AM A MORMON.

How I live my faith

I feel like my personal prayers are my special "one-on-one" time with my Heavenly Father. I confide in Him, thank Him, and pray for guidance. Prayer has helped me see the individual needs of each of my five children, along with my own personal needs. It has also helped, my husband and I, with many different, difficult trials and decisions. I have been blessed to have served in several different areas in my church. I have worked with the children in primary, the women in relief society, and the young women(12-18yrs). Serving in each area has strengthen my testimony of the Savior and of His eternal love for each of us.
