Hi I'm Trevor

I was born and raised in Utah. I served an LDS Mission in Peru, Trujillo and am happily married. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a movie person. I especially love musicals. I enjoy few things better than relaxing on the couch while watching "Man of La Mancha" or "Fiddler on the Roof." I also love road biking and occasionally getting up into the mountains hiking or mountain biking. My wife and I have been married for nearly three years after having been sealed together for time and all eternity and are not parents quite yet. I don't have the most exciting job right now, managing parts at a local car repair shop, though, I will be continuing my education once my wife has finished her degree. I have not completely decided upon what my studies will be focused but have lately been leaning towards writing and photography.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. I was baptized at the age of 8 years old and became a member. Since then I've spent a lot of time thinking about why I am a Mormon. The reason that I always find is Happiness. Nothing makes me more happy than making choices that bring peace into my life even through the toughest trials. I might not know every point of doctrine or every historical event with the Mormon church. What I do know is that as I follow the council of the Prophet, Apostles and other leaders of the church and seek to better understand Christ's Atonement and mercy my life is filled with happiness, excitement and peace. The doctrine of the church is centered on Christ. What can bring more happiness than that?

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being kind to those around me as best as I can. I like to serve others directly and indirectly. I am currently a member of my Elder's Quorum Presidency and am seeking the ways to serve those within my Elder's Quorum. As a Presidency we pray for the blessings God has reserved for those in the Quorum to be given to them as He sees fit. I recently helped can tomato sauce at the Welfare Cannerie in Lindon, Utah. It was fun to know that what I was doing was going to help people have an opportunity to obtain food that they may not otherwise be able to have.
