Hi I'm Brad Owens

I grew up in the South, retired US Air Force and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to ride Harley's and do my visiting teaching on my Fatboy. I've been a mormon convert for 18 years, I love to fish and Cycle, and hang out on the beach, travel and meeting people.

Why I am a Mormon

After attending my first sacrement meeting an feeling the warmth of the Holy Ghost I knew that I was in the place my Heavenly Father wanted me to be. I continue to follow the gospel because I know without a hesitation that this is the True Church of or Lord. I know the doctrine is correct and true. I have a testimony of the Church an Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunity's to work with the youth of or church as a leader, friend and father. It keeps me feeling young and energetic. I love to attend church events, an participate when I can. I enjoy going out teaching others, and providing relief helping others.

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

Brad Owens
Eternal life is the phrase used in scripture to define the quality of life that our Eternal Father lives. The Lord declared, "This is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" (see Moses 1:39). Immortality is to live forever as a resurrected being. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, everyone will receive this gift. Eternal life, or exaltation, is to live in God's presence and to continue as families. Like immortality, this gift is made possible through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. However, to inherit eternal life requires our "obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel."
