Hi I'm Blair Rorani
I'm a creative instructional designer, a family man, and I'm a Mormon.
I am a creative instructional designer and Founder at Ever Learning. We build training and comms that work better and look cooler. I spend most of my time drawing cool ideas for clients and other fun pictures on my iPad. In my spare time I like to have fun with my family and teach things to our children. I enjoy playing sports. I also like building things with code and design / illustration.
I was given a copy of the Book of Mormon to read by a friend. I knew it meant a lot to many of my friends so I committed to read it to find out why. Having a Christian background I was somewhat familiar with many of Christ's teaching contained in the book. While I didn't remember or understand all the words and phrases, I remember always having a different, peaceful feeling when I read the book. When I reached the end, the final author promised that if I thought about what I had read, prayed to ask God and believed He would answer me, that I could know that the teachings in the book were true. I decided to do just that. I prayed one day when I was all alone running on a country road. The feeling I had when I finished asking God if the Book of Mormon was true was a warm and peaceful one. I knew that it was God answering my prayer. No other person had told me. God had let me know through the feelings of His Spirit that the book was true. I then made the link between the book being true, and it's translator, Joseph Smith being called of God to restore His Church which was the Kingdom of God again on the earth. I took the new knowledge that I had gained from God and was baptised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints a few weeks before my 18th birthday. That one decision has changed my life for ever and has brought me blessings that I had never before considered possible.
I try to be a good example by following the teaching of Jesus Christ. I show love to my wife and children, encourage our family to give christian service to others, put in an honest days work for my employer, and find ways to help others I meet. I serve in a volunteer position with the men in our congregation during Sunday meetings and as part of activities during the week. I am also assigned to visit several families who belong to our Church to make sure their they are okay spiritually as well as physically and financially.
