Hi I'm Jeremy

I'm a guy who is passionate about communication and relationships. Social media marketer, runner, aspiring Audiologist and Mormon.

About Me

I'm just a single guy moving forward with my education. I love communicating with people, building relationships and being outdoors. You can probably find me playing sports, out on a trail in the mountains somewhere, or just with other people. The things that are most important to me are my Savior and His gospel, my family (of which I am the youngest of four), my friends, and obtaining knowledge from any source that is profitable.

Why I am a Mormon

It's pretty simple really. I've studied the church of Jesus Christ's doctrine and I have asked Heavenly Father, as His son, if the things I read about were true. I found out for myself the truthfulness of this message just as anyone else can as a valued son or daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. Through the Holy Ghost Heavenly Father will make it known to you. As I continue learning and living the gospel the blessings I receive are undeniable. It's great!

How I live my faith

I'm new in my ward, and so I get to know other new members as well so they feel more comfortable at church. I will soon receive a few households to visit in order to help them with their physical and spiritual needs and to just be a friend.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Mormon Temples aren't just normal church meeting houses for Mormons. It is a sacred place where members continue to strengthen their testimonies, learn gospel truths, make additional promises, and participate in other gospel ordinances. Only some members are allowed to go in because one must be prepared spiritually and living right in order to enter. Just as one wouldn't try learning algebra before understanding basic arithmetic, one shouldn't enter the temple until basic gospel principles are understood. The temple is a very sacred place. For this reason members do not talk about what happens inside. It is not secret. Any person with a desire to enter the House of the Lord can do so by preparing themselves through faith, repentance, baptism and so on. In the temple one can feel the spirit of the Lord more than any other place on earth. I love the temple! It is a place where I can meditate, pray, and receive guidance from my Heavenly Father. It is literally the House of the Lord. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Jesus Christ has taught to "love thy neighbor as thyself". This statement is definitive and has no stipulations based on race, religion, culture, or any other background information. In my life as I strive to follow Christ's example I look for opportunities to serve and help anyone in need-no matter what! Show more Show less
