Hi I'm Amy

I'm a Mormon. And it is the best part of my life! Every thing good in my life stems from my membership in this church.

About Me

I am happily married to a wonderful man. He works hard, is very patient, and makes me laugh every day. We have two handsome, active boys that keep me on my toes. We recently had a beautiful little girl that brought us so my joy. I love being a wife and mother!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the love I feel from my Heavenly Father every single day. There is no doubt in my mind that this is the only true Church. I know my Savior lives and atoned for my sins. I know it is through Him that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again someday. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know Joseph Smith restored the gospel here on earth in these latter days, and I know we have a living prophet today, President Thomas S. Monson, who leads us and directs us for good. I find great peace and happiness when I attend the temple, and I know that through the covenants I have made there my family can be together forever in the eternities. Being a Mormon is the very best part of my life. Every thing good in my life stems from my membership in this Church!

How I live my faith

I am a member of the largest women's organization in the world, and I serve in a leadership role in my local unit. I receive so much strength from other women that are experiencing many of the same triumphs and struggles. It gives me comfort and hope to know that other women have made it through difficult times ... and survived.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Everything in the Church is based on families. In heaven we were part of a large family, with a Heavenly Father and Mother, and brother and sisters. The Lord loves us so much that He sent us to Earth to again be part of family - to learn to love and grow together in righteousness. There is a beautiful children's song that says, "God gave us families to help us become what he wants us to be. This is how He shares his love, for the family is of God." In the Church we are also part of a ward family, made up those that live in our surrounding areas that we call brothers and sisters. In a ward, we love and support and help one another strengthen our own individual families. In addition to the Church, my family is the most important thing to me here on Earth. I want to live with them forever, not just until we die. I know that if I live my life worthily while I am here, I will have the opportunity to be with my loved ones in the eternities... forever!
