Hi I'm Megan

I'm a young wife and a mother of 4. I love to make cookies and eat chocolate ice cream. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 7 children. I got married to Monte in the Boise Temple right after I graduated from high school. We have 3 girls and a boy. Our little boy was born at home. Monte and I were both born and raised in Idaho and never thought we would leave, but after being married for 4 years we moved to Kansas to manage a pest control business. We live in a small town and have 3 acres where we enjoy our horse and pony, chickens, dog and cat, and our little children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love God and Jesus Christ. I have a testimony that I am a daughter of God and that Jesus Christ came to earth and atoned for our sins. I'm know that God knows me and loves me and all of his children. I strive to keep God's commandments and keep my covenants that I have made with Him because I know that is what he wants me to do, and when I do this, I feel His love. I know Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God. I know the Book of Mormon is true and I love to read it. I am so grateful for Heavenly Father's plan of happiness that allows us to return to his presence and be sealed to our families forever.

How I live my faith

I wake up early to meditate, pray, read my scriptures, and (most days) watch the sun rise before my little ones are awake. I participate in our small ward by helping God's Daughters to prepare for the blessings of eternal life. I do this by teaching, visiting, and helping organize activities. I visit women in my ward and strive to minister and teach as the Savior would. I am part of the largest organization for women on earth and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve God's children and follow of Jesus Christ.
