Hi I'm James Clemans

I'm Christian, member, Church of Jesus Christ of L.D.S.,raised in Greendale, Wisconsin, Milwaukee, now Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

About Me

I'm LDS/Mormon. I'm a happily married father of 4, survivor of divorce, remarriage, infertility, and life. I'm a college graduate. I'm a past computer professional, managing, selling and supporting computer hardware & software in imaging, text indexing and retrieval, word processing, network attached storage NAS, optical drive software and others. Left the rat race of Fortune 500 to work in Financial Services. Infertility and adoption brought me back to computers for a time eventually leaving and starting and working in Family History and Genealogy.

Why I am a Mormon

I knew from an early age right from wrong. I had good parents and teachers in church who helped me recognize the good and evil and spirit and difference of both. I grew up in a heavy drinking area full of alcohol and immorality. My parents, and our home was a spiritual refuge from the world. I saw changes in them as a youth as they converted to LDS/Mormon values. I saw the benefits of those values, felt the difference from the world and the spirit of God in my life. I saw things I did not want to participate in, the spirit told me so. I listened to that direction that has continued to shape my life. I'm not perfect but I know with God's help I'm a better man, a better father, better husband, better son. I know and feel that unmistakeably. I know little children are saved from the fall, that Christ atoned for my sins and that I owe them everything as I do my folks, great examples of service, charity and love. I feel very blessed, believe in an after life, families are forever, that we are all brothers and sisters and will be reunited with love ones, including our Heavenly Parents and the Savior and others. I have been blessed with many great opportunities for service and continue to cherish the blessings daily I'm been given.

How I live my faith

Everyday. I currently teach HP and recently taught Cub Scouts and before that taught young children ages 7-9. Previously served in leadership of Congregation/Ward's, Scouting, Young Men Organization, Family History and other gospel teaching. I love my kids. I love teaching them about the Savior, about living righteously, moral lives, reading the scriptures and feeling the Holy Spirit and recognizing guidance from above in our lives. Teaching good versus evil and making choices and consequences. And they teach me.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

James Clemans
When I see little children, their spirits and the spirit of God tell me they are pure and innocent and have recently come from Heavenly Father. The birds that soar in the sky, the river that flows, the majestic mountains, flowers, nature are all witnesses of him. When we go out into nature we feel at peace and can seperate ourselves from the world and see things as they really are. We feel god's influence and light in these things. Show more Show less
