Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 47 years old, and I converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was 32. I work for MetLife as a Financial Advisor, and I live in Massachusetts. I grew up in Massachusetts, but never really learned about the LDS Church until I moved to Utah when I was 27. I was first married in 1992, and I have two children from that marriage. I later divorced and I am now re-married, with a third child.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the LDS Church after a time in my life when I was praying daily for guidance on how to better live my Catholic faith. I felt inspired to investigate the Book of Mormon and read it through entirely over about a one year period. It was after that when I was baptized into the LDS Church.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve as the person responsible for making sure that our local worship building is maintained - I am the building maintenance representative. Volunteers from our church community giv their time to insure that the building is vacuumed, bathrooms cleaned, etc.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Absolutely! I could not have joined the LDS Church if the Bible was not seen in its proper light. Mormons believe the Bible is scripture and we use it in our daily lives as well as in our weekly worship at church. Show more Show less
