Hi I'm Bevan

I grew up in Utah and graduated from U of U in Electrical Engineering and worked for Boeing in Seattle, WA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of five, 2 sons and 3 daughters, and grandfather of 15, 5 grandsons and 10 granddaughters. I graduated from the University of Utah in Electrical Engineering in 1964. I worked for The Boeing Co. in Information Systems for 42.5 years and retired in 2007. I am enjoying retirement and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the gospel is true and we are led by a living Prophet, Thomas S. Monson, who receives revelation. I know that Jesus Christ lives and is my redeemer having atoned for my transgressions. He is my brother and He loves me. The Book of Mormon was given to us in these last days and is a true book containing a history and testament of Jesus Christ on this continent. It provides us an understanding of the gospel and we grow closer to Christ as you study and ponder its teachings. I love the gospel and provides me with the happiness and guidance for my life.

How I live my faith

I have served in the church in many callings. Most of these callings have been involved with the youth in the church as an adult leader or teacher. I have served in ward leadership as a Bishop and Bishop's Counselor, leading, teaching and directing the affairs of the ward. Stake leadership on the High Counsel and the youth programs of the church. Served several years as a Church Education System Volunteer teaching youth in Early Morning Seminary religion classes and as a Stake Supervisor over the Seminary program in the stake.
