Hi I'm Mimi

I'm an aunt, an ASL missionary, a dancer. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love tap dancing, writing, studying history, hiking, ice skating, watching old movies with my sisters, sitting around laughing with my brothers, teasing my dad, and painting my mom's toenails. I love to make people laugh. I embrace awkward situations because they are so much fun to blog about after the fact. Some of my near-future goals are to learn to play the piano, learn Spanish, find ways to get more involved with the Deaf world, and become an expert at country dancing. I'd love to just attend courses in various subjects all day, every day, but not have to do the homework. I want to be a foster mom someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the Lord lives and that this is His church. I know because I have read the Book of Mormon, pondered it over and over again, and prayed to know if it is true. I have asked Him many times. Every time He gives me the assurance that it is. Because it is, I also know that He has set up His church again in these last days through the prophet Joseph Smith. God would never leave me alone. His Son did something incredible for me. I want to access what He did for me, and it can only be done by the proper authority from God. This church has it.

How I live my faith

I try my best to do what's right. When I mess up, I repent and lean on the Lord to help me become better. I study my scriptures and pray every single day, and that makes all the difference in how I act.
