Hi I'm Scott

i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Vancouver Canada in a part-mormon family. I served as a Full-Time Missionary in the Georgia Macon USA mission. I love the Savior and I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. Nothing will ever be able to change that. I love snowboarding and playing my guitar. I just love being alive.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to follow Jesus Christ by being baptized at the age of eight. I love the firmness of the Gospel and the light and direction that it gives to me in my life. A living prophet in the world makes all the difference and I have see the blessings that come from President Monson. In a world of darkness and confusion and shifting values i don't have to be confused I can know exatally what my father in heaven expects out of me. =D Ephesians 4:12-14 States "And he gave some, apostles and some, prophets and some, evangelists and some, pastors and teachers 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive " It only makes sence. Follow the prophet and be happy.

How I live my faith

I love to serve people and help them come to understand the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ that is been restored on the earth once again. I love doing it everyday even under the burning sun.  I try to set and example to others around me and allow them to see that blessings that I am receiving because of the gospel. I am partly responsible for the needs of the men in our congregation and strive to plan and organize activities that allow us to all get to know each other better. Everyday I try and help as many people as I can each day.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

That is a question that iI get asked almost everyday. Simply the answer is NO! We worship God and Jesus Christ. We give honor and gratitude for the things that Joseph did similarly to giving honor to the founding fathers of the United States of America. I love my Savior! Show more Show less
