Hi I'm Jordan

Im a musician. a volleyball player. im crazy fun! and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jordan and I was born to goodly parents :. I'm a proud polynesian and my blood screams SAMOA! Growing up I loved playing sports. My medicine to calm me down is volleyball! My passion is singing and playing the ukulele and guitar! The beach is my escape away from the world. Im currently serving a mission in Minneapolis Minnesota. I plan to do schooling in Hawaii at BYU, but I plan on going to nursing school to become an RN.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and didn't really know what I believed. I was going off of my parents' testimonies. But I had to falter a little and stray away from being a Mormon to actually appreciate what I have! And I can truly say that I would never want to lose that direction back to my Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I know that I love my God and as a Mormon I know my purpose for living.

How I live my faith

I am definitely not perfect, but I try my best to live my faith by serving those around me. I know that the teachings of the church are true and that is the same reason why I am serving a mission. If this is something good in my life that I know will benefit others, why wouldn't I want to share this hapiness with others?

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Baptism with the proper authority is important because then anyone can claim to baptize. We believe that the priesthood, or power to act in God's name, is necessary for proper baptism. I like to think of it as an ice cream man who decides he wants to pull me over and give me a speeding a ticket. Would you pay that ticket? I wouldn't because he does not have the authority to give me a ticket. The same goes for baptism :. Show more Show less
